Arlington Genealogical Society Scrapbooks:A Guide
Historical NoteThe Arlington Genealogical Society was established October 27, 1970, in Arlington, Texas. The Society is comprised of individuals united for the purpose of promoting interest in genealogy, encouraging the preservation of historical records for the future, and helping the Arlington Public Library acquire genealogical materials. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and ContentsThe Arlington Genealogical Society scrapbooks were compiled by society members between 1970 and 1986 to document their activities and projects. The three scrapbooks contain minutes, member lists, organizational history, newsletters, photographs, correspondence and newspaper clippings. Items found loose in the scrapbooks were removed and placed in folders. Return to the Table of Contents
