Arlington, Texas, Land Records Collection:A Guide
Scope and ContentsThis collection of abstracts, title reports, deeds, survey and plat maps are land documents that relate to parcels in the original Town of Arlington, the Joel Blackwell survey, the Sol Davis Survey, the John Huitt Survey, and the Owen Medlin Survey. The collection also includes a copy of the original plat of the Town of Arlington as copied in 1913, plat maps for the Harrison, Iondale Place, Oak Hill Acres, Oak Park, Parkview, Pilant Acres, and Summit Grove additions/subdivisions, and various projects in the original Arlington townsite. Many of the surveys and plat maps were prepared by Arlington surveyors, John R. Ball, Jr., O. V. Di Sciullo, and Claud W. Estes. Old Arlington family names such as Collins, Ditto, King and Randol are represented within this collection. RestrictionsAccessOpen for research.
