Biographical NoteHenry Ross Perot, born on June 27, 1930, is an American businessman best known for running for President of the United States. He ran as an independent in 1992 and in 1996 under the Reform Party, founded by him in 1995. Perot received a 18.9% of the vote in 1992 and only 8% of the vote in 1996, though he won no electoral college votes in either election.
