Biographical NoteTommie L. Hutto-Blake served as the President of the Transport Workers Union, Local 552 from 1976-1977. The Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) was formed in 1977 as an independent union representing flight attendants of American Airlines who had previously been represented by the Transport Workers Union. From 1978 to 1980, she served as the APFA Vice-President. The majority of this collection is of documents acquired during her term as APFA President, from 2004-2008.
