Biographical Note
Oda Mae Houston graduated from Dallas High School on May 29, 1908, in commencement exercises held at the Dallas Opera House. The Class of 1908 numbered sixty-eight students.
Scope and Contents
This scrapbook was compiled by Oda Mae Houston to commemorate her graduation from Dallas High School in 1908. Entitled "The Girl Graduate: Her Own Book,"it contains clippings from her high school annual and local newspapers, autographs of students and teachers, class predictions and a record of her graduation gifts.
