Processing Information

The Clarence Denman Papers were reprocessed and the finding aid prepared by Margaret Knox-Kruschke.

During reprocessing, the processor noted that the following items listed in the old finding aid were missing from the collection:

  • Grubbs Vocational College – Dramatic Club, Commencement, Class Day, Recital and Exhibit Programs, 1920-1922: Extent (10 items)
  • Grubbs Vocational College – Bulletin, Vo. 1, No. 3, March 1, 1918 (Fragile)
  • Carlisle College Drill Grounds and Barracks, 1917 (postcard)
  • Carlisle Military Academy, Baseball Team, 1908
  • Grubbs Vocational College, Arlington, Texas – Student Body, undated: Extent (25.5cm x 117cm), Panoramic

During reprocessing, the processor noted that the following items were present within the collection but were not noted on the old finding aid; these items are listed in the "Detailed Description of the Collection" of the current finding aid:

  • Carlisle Military Academy – Faculty and students
  • Grubbs Vocational College – Scrapbook page photographs
  • North Texas Agricultural College – Main entrance
  • Glass slides

Also, the processor observed that two photographs of Grubbs Vocational College faculty and staff in Series II were adhered to each other; further preservation work by a conservationist is warranted to separate these photographs from each other. News clippings were photocopied on acid-free paper, and the original clippings were discarded.
