Historical Note

The organization is comprised of female faculty and staff members as well as wives of faculty and staff of The University of Texas at Arlington and its predecessors. It was created in 1917 as the College Faculty Club, but was disbanded after a few months. In 1919 it was reorganized as the Roundabout Club. The club was renamed the Faculty Women's Club in 1960.

Correspondence, minutes, financial records, yearbooks, membership lists, constitutions, newspaper clippings, and photographs.

 

Organization

The papers are in chronological order by academic year. There are several ledgers containing records for several years. This causes some overlapping between the ledgers and the loose papers.
