"Thomas A. Pressly, Jr. was educated at Washington and
Lee University, Lexington, Virginia and the University of
Texas. From 1961-1986 he was head of the architectural
firm Thomas A. Pressly, Jr. A.I.A. in San Antonio. He
retired to Ireland as a professional painter to present.
Pressly's art is in many collections including the McNay Art
Museum, San Antonio; Arkansas Fine Arts Center, Little
Rock; San Antonio Museum of Art; Crawford Museum of
Art, Cork, Ireland; Forbes Museum, New York, and
private collections throughout the USA, Ireland,
England and France. He has been featured in American
Artist magazine and Watercolor. Pressly's many
affiliations include signature member of the National
Watercolor Society, past president of the Texas
Watercolor Society, past member of the Board of
Directors of San Antonio Arts Council, the Texas
Watercolor Society and the San Antonio Chapter of
A.I.A."
