The District of Columbia Architectural collection consists of 2 drawings of the Federal Bank; 17 drawings of the National Gallery of Art, John Russell Pope, architect; 21 drawings of the National Archives building, Louis A. Simon, supervising architect; and 1 drawing of the West Front and Towers of Washington Cathedral, Vaughan & Bodley, Frohman, Robb & Little, architects; Howard B. Trevillian, supervising architect; and 6 drawings of the Lincoln Memorial.
Restrictions on Access
Access is by appointment only to any serious scholar. Rolled materials must be flattened before viewing. A three-day advance notice is required to flatten rolled materials. Portions of this collection are not processed and may not be accessible.
