Scope and Content of the collection

The California Architectural collection consists of the following drawings: a progress printing, 22 November 1993, of bound construction documents of Walt Disney Concert Hall by Frank O. Gehry and Associates, Inc. and Dworsky Associates; rolled drawings of Granada 8 Theatres and Livermore Theatre, Livermore, CA, 1996; and La Quinta Theatre, La Quinta, CA, 1995, by Thorp Associates, P.C.; and rolled drawings of the Environmental Design Building, University of California, Berkeley, CA, 1962, DeMars, Esherick and Olsen, architects.

Restrictions on Access

Access is by appointment only to any serious scholar. Rolled materials must be flattened before viewing. A three-day advance notice is required to flatten rolled materials. Portions of this collection are not processed and may not be accessible.
