Clifford Ashby was a Professor Emeritus of theater at Texas Tech University. His interests and publications included Greek
theatre and Tent Shows. He co-authored, with Suzanne DePauw May, the book, "Trouping Through Texas: Harley Sadler and His Tent
Show" in 1982.
