The University Interscholastic League (UIL), the largest organization
of its kind in the world, is to provide leadership and guidance to public
schools in scheduling, holding, and governing a wide variety of competitive
events. It is the mission of the UIL to focus on the educational aspects of
contests and on the positive benefits to Texas public school students.
The collection contains various agendas, event results, handbooks, regional information, activities and conference data, on academic
and athletic UIL events. Included in the collection are 2 paperweights, the Leaguer newspaper, and 13 prints.
