Biographical Sketch
Founded at Texas Tech in 1981, the Women's Studies Program offered courses which could satisfy social sciences and humanities degree requirements. The purpose of the program was to promote perspectives with special awareness in women's concerns.
Scope and Contents
The collection consists of exit interviews of former female Texas Tech employees, most of whom were teaching faculty, conducted from 1981-2004 by the Women's Studies Council.
