Biographical Sketch

Founded at Texas Tech in 1981, the Women's Studies Program, offered courses which may satisfy social sciences and humanities degree requirements. The purpose of the program was to promote perspectives with special awareness in women's concerns.

The collection consists of exit interviews of former female Texas Tech employees, conducted from 1981-2001 by the Women's Studies Council.
