Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma are national honor societies that
recognize scholastic attainment during the freshman year. Membership is offered
to students who earn a grade point average of at least 3.50 during the first
semester of their freshman year while completing at least 12 semester hours of
coursework. Students who do not qualify during the first semester may become
eligible by earning a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the first two
semesters of work combined.

The donation consists of initiation packets, initiation certificates,
membership rosters, "The Flame" editor comments, "The Forum", officer
nominations, scholarship applications, scholarship awards, promotional material
and an oversize Alpha Lambda Delta cloth.
