J. R. Price attended Texas Tech back in the late 1960s and was member of the Saddle Tramps, a student organization that supports the university's athletics programs. Price went on to become a United State Postal Inspector.

 Scope and Content

The collection consists of memorabilia type items pertaining to athletics and the Saddle Tramps organization. The Texas Tech athletic media guides and game programs have been transferred to fill in gaps within those two areas.
