A part of the Texas Tech University College of Agricultural Sciences, the Department of Parks Administration and Landscape Architecture offered both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Scope and Content

This four box collection contains records from the Parks Administration and Landscape Architecture department, donated mainly by professor Dr. James Kitchen. Included are reports and papers dealing with studies on parks and recreation areas. Also included are slide show presentations and several student papers, both of which contain reels of film and color slides to accompany the slide show or paper. As most of reels of film and slides accompany papers or scripts, the materials reside together in the manuscript collection. Many of these do not pertain to Texas or the southwest area, nor Texas Tech University.
