         <head>Biographical Sketch</head>
         <p>The Sports Information Office traces its origins to the Sports News
		  Office in the early 1950s, and evolved to the present designation in the late
		  1960s. Sports Information serves in a public relations capacity as a liaison
		  between the media and the athletic department. The Office maintains media
		  records on all Tech athletes, as well as compiles and designs media guides and
		  game programs.</p>
