The scrapbook was donated to the University Archive by David Edward Olsen, who played on the 1962 Picador basketball team for Texas Tech. Olsen was attending the Picador Reunion in February 2002 and brought along his scrapbook.

 Scope and Content

The collection consists of a very fragile scrapbook, dated almost entirely from 1965-1966, which contains news clippings and game programs of the Picador basketball team.

The scrapbook has been photocopied for patron usage, as the original pages are too delicate.

Conservation Note: The pages are loose and very fragile. The game programs are in very good condition, except that the last page has been pasted into the scrapbook.
