In the Spring of 2002, the Texas Tech University departments of
Student Activities and Student Life merged to form the Center for Campus Life
(CCL). The CCL is responsible for arranging cultural and social events to
enrich the lives of Texas Tech students, faculty and the general public.
Nationally and internationally known persons, celebrities, lecturers and
artists are brought in to speak and perform.
The collection contains various materials related to the operations of
the Center for Campus Life. Included are budgets, program information, flyers,
photographs, news clippings, and oversized posters. The majority of the
materials deal with the Nightlife Series, which is the cultural events offered
to students, faculty and the public on an annual basis.
