A military veteran and attorney, Fred Eurie Young was born in 1891 in
Craighead County, Arkansas. He served in both World War I and World War II, and
was the chief attorney for the Lubbock, Texas, Veterans Administration
(1946-1961). He retired to a private law practice in Lubbock, Texas. Young was
a member of the Texas Bar Association and the Allen Brothers American Legion
Post. He died in 1965.

Boys Club, Veterans Administration, American Legion and the United States Army.
The collection bulks (1941-1964) with materials concerning the First Officers
Training Camp Association, including correspondence, camp bulletins, and the
camp news magazine. Of special interest are materials concerning Young's
service in World War I and World War II.
