Biographical Sketch

The county seat of Garza County, Post was established as a town in 1907 when cereal magnate Charles William Post bought 200,000 acres of ranch land and created the Double U Company. The company was responsible for the construction of the town and landscaping, as well as renting and selling farm land and buildings.

This collection consists blueprints of residential homes, commercial and agricultural structures, miscellaneous buildings and structures for the city of Post, Texas. The materials were donated along with the Double U Ranch records.
