Biographical Note

Walter Jon Williams was born in 1953. After his educational career, culminating with a degree in 1975, Williams had some success with sea stories before finding a home in science fiction and fantasy . In the 1980s, he discovered cyberpunk, and contributed to that movement. Williams has been nominated for many awards.


Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of the manuscript of his No Spot of Ground, later published in Isaac Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine.
