Theodore Francis Powys (1875-1953), British writer of short stories and novels, was the brother of John Cowper Powys and Llewelyn Powys. He was born in Derbyshire and spent most of his life in the West Country, writing mostly while living at East Chaldon in Dorset.

Scope and Content Note

The letters are to his sister, Lucy Penny, and his friend and the writer Valentine Ackland.
