These records were transported to Dallas when Governor William P. Clements' first term ended on January 18, 1983. They were transferred to the custody of Texas A & M University in 1993 under the agreement signed by Texas A & M University, the Texas State Library, and Governor Clements. They remain in the property of the Texas State Library but are housed at Texas A & M University where they are available to researchers during the regular hours of the Cushing Memorial Libary.

Implementation volume of the report of the 1977 White House

recommendation the Department of Mental Health/Mental Retardation has provided information on
how it has already implemented, or how it
plans to implement the recommendations.
