Brunk Family:An Inventory of Photographs, 1920-1976, at the Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library
Biographical SketchHenry Brunk's tent shows toured the states of Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas from the early 1910s to the early 1960s. He was manager of the traveling road shows for many years. At one time they had seven tent shows running but after World War II, tent shows declined in popularity. They brought cheap entertainment to the rural areas of the southwest.
