Biographical Sketch
John A. Kay came to Wichita Falls in 1911 as a geologist for
Continental Oil Company to work in the recently discovered fields in Wichita
County. In 1930, he opened his own business as a consulting geologist for the
area.
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of photographs of geologists in the oil and
gas industry and their equipment (1918).
The negatives and prints are housed in separate envelopes.
