Creator SketchLittle is known about A. F. Miller, owner of the A. F. Miller Company specializing in cottonseed and soya bean products. His father was Julius Miller who came to the United States from Germany in 1865 and died in his home in Orange, Texas in 1924. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and Content NoteThe A. F. Miller Collection is comprised of financial and legal documents dating from 1847 to 1871. Financial documents include an 1869 letter concerning shipment of five sacks of oats from V. Wiess & Company to Mr. A. Adams and an 1871 receipt issued to Abel Adams from K. D. Keith for eleven bales of cotton. The legal document is an 1847 sheriff's deed to Anson Jones for 610 acres of land in Bexar County seized from T. F. Risk and sold at a sheriff's sale. Return to the Table of Contents
