The W. B. Taylor Collection consists of a single bound Spanish manuscript book dated from February 27, 1845, to April 27, 1846. It is a record of the troops engaged in the construction and garrisoning of Fort Paredes to protect the northern frontier of Mexico from foreign invasion. The bound manuscript contains two hundred written leaves.
