		<head>Creator Sketch</head>
<p>Jacob Binz is credited with building the first <emph render="doublequote">skyscraper</emph> in Houston, the Binz Building. The Binz Building was built in 1894 at 413-419 Main Street. The original Binz Building has since been demolished and replaced by a new building which retained the name and location of the original historic building. Jacob Binz married Anna Yeager. Their daughter Adaline married August Moser in 1880. After the death of Moser, Adaline married Fred Carl in 1904; she died at the age of 89 in 1925. She was survived by her son, Ernst A. Moser, who was born in 1883. Ernst Moser married a Miss Schultz, daughter of Mary Jane Coon Schultz. Mr. and Mrs. Moser are the donors of the collection.</p>
