Creator SketchLittle is known about W. H. Hundley, the donor of the collection who may be a descendant of James Hundley, of Fannin County, Texas. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and Content NoteThis collection is comprised of two items: an 1880 school teacher salary receipt and an 1891 warranty for a wagon. The receipt is for $20 to L. Stephenson and James Hundley, trustees of Little Cany School in Fannin County, Texas, in full settlement of E. F. Grogan's account as teacher in the public free school. Also included in the papers is a printed warranty dated at Bonham, Texas in 1891 from Mitchell & Lewis Co. Ltd. who are manufacturers of farm and spring wagons in Racine, Wisconsin.
