Correspondence, financial and legal documents, printed materials, photographs, and illustrations (1804-1936) comprise this collection of Texana accumulated in part by Emil Hurja and bought by Mr. and Mrs. Jesse H. Jones for the San Jacinto Museum of History in April of 1948 and by the Houston Endowment in 1960.
