Biographical/Historical note

Dorothy Miller Richardson (1873-1957) was the first writer to publish an English novel that contained what would come to be known as the "stream of consciousness" technique. Her series of thirteen novels collectively titled "Pilgrimage" are her most famous writings, known as great modernist and feminist English works.
