E. B. Osborn letters, 1892-1909
Biographical NotesEdward Bolland Osborn was born in 1867, He was an author and literary editor of the Morning Post. He travelled extensively and had visited most European countries. James Nicol Dunn was born in Kincardineshire in 1856. Although trained in law, Dunn devoted his life to journalism and became editor for several publications including Black and White, Morning Post, Manchester Courier, among others. He died in 1919. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and ContentsThe collection consists of letters from , author, journalist and Literary Editor of the Morning Post; to James Nicol Dunn, Editor of Black and White and Morning Post. The correspondence deals with reviewing books, writing articles and mentions such figures as Thomas Paine, Whistler, Robert Louis Stevenson, Botticelli, and others.
