Tate, and Yvor Winters. Also included are a 1926 Theodore Dreiser letter and a
letter written in 1953 by Sean O'Casey to Korges, then a senior at Rice
University and editor of the student newspaper,
The Thresher.

Biographical Note
Literary critic James Korges wrote about authors Erskine Caldwell and
Anais Nin in the late 1960s and early 1970s, in addition to editing the
journal,
Critique: Studies in Modern Fiction . Korges
is a Rice University alumnus.
