		<p>This collection consists of  materials gathered by Sarah H. Emmott in the course of her active work in the environmental movement in Houston from the 1960's onwards, together with the library of the Texas Coastal &amp; Marine Council.</p>

		<head>Arrangement</head> 
		<p>Box 1 contains miscellaneous papers concerning the Citizens Environmental Coalition and Citizens Environmental Coalition Education Fund, mainly minutes of meetings and reports of activities, plus a few clippings on Sarah and Army Emmott, other environmentalists and environmental issues.  Boxes 2-4 contain scrapbooks of clippings, letters, etc., on environmental topics, mainly concerning Texas, from 1965 through 1974.</p>
