Scope and ContentsThis collection is composed of 59 photographs of African-Americans dating from 1885, which feature members of the Collins, Gay, Ligons, Johnson, and Williams families, as well as their relatives and friends, who were farmers, teachers, railroad employees, and active churchgoers.
