Scope and Contents
The collection consists of various materials from campaigns in the Houston area between 1906 and 1976. Candidates whose campaign literature are found in the collection include Oscar Holcombe, Walter Monteith, Mickey Leland, and George Bush. Other local political materials that pertain to taxation and bond issues are also included. While the major portion of the collection is local in nature, some state and national campaign materials are available.
