<p>The collection, consisting primarily of correspondence and clippings, deals with Adele Looscan's activities as president of the Texas Historical Association. Among the most prominent correspondents represented in the collection are Eugene C. Barker, Charles W. Ramsdell, and Ernest W. Winkler, all of whom served as officers for the Texas Historical Association during 1911-1926. None of her own letters are in the collection. The correspondence consists only of letters she recieved between 1911 and 1926. The clippings deal with historical topics and the activities of the Association.
