Philip Seib Collection
Biographical NotePhilip Seib came to Dallas in 1972. He taught at Southern Methodist University's Department of Journalism from 1982 to 1999, worked as a political advisor at WFAA television from 1978 to 2000 and was a featured columnist for the Dallas Morning News from 1980 to 1999. Seib was also a member of the Texas Bar Association and has served as the assistant director of the Dallas Museum of Art. Philip Seib has written several books, including Dallas: Chasing the Urban Dream. He currently is a professor at the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication. The first series is a collection of his Dallas Morning News columns and contributions to other publications such as D Magazine and Dallas. These are arranged chronologically by year.
