Scope and Contents

This collection consists of the tax statements and assorted other land papers of the Hollywood Company, developer and builder of the Hollywood Addition. This development is now part of the Hollywood/Santa Monica neighborhood of East Dallas (between Lakewood and Samuell & Tennison Parks) and was developed between the mid-1920s and the late 1930s. It is now a designated Conservation District.
