Scope and Contents

This collection consists of photocopies of designation reports and ordinances approved by the Dallas Landmark Commission and Dallas City Council for historic buildings and districts that have been designated as Dallas Landmarks. The original forms are held by the City's Planning and Development Department.

Note: The notation "ordinance and map only" indicates that there is no history of the building or district in the file, only the legal document designating the property, a map of the site, and (in some cases) preservation guidelines.
