	<head>Biographical Note</head>
	<p>Carol Neaves was born in Gunter, Texas on 26 August 1926. He graduated from Texas A&#x0026;M in Civil Engineering in 1947 and served in World War II. He was active in both professional and civic organizations, including the Dallas Jaycees, Dallas County Camp Fire Girls, and the Dallas Better Business Bureau.</p>

	<p>The scrapbook was left to Mrs. Carol Neaves after Mr. Neaves died in June 2004. Mrs. Neaves then gave it to family friend Jerry Jordan, who donated it to the library on 11 March 2005.</p>
