Billy Bishop is the founder of Obsolete Industries, an Austin-based company which provides art printing, event posters, and demo printing. Billy Bishop utilizes screen printing, and focuses on cartoons and pop-culture using vibrant and/or contrasting colors.

Scope and Contents

The collection contains twelve music posters advertising shows at Austin venues such as Trophey’s, Stubb’s BBQ, Emo’s, and Beerland. Bands and musicians Cibo Matto, Mud Honey, Fear, Deadly Snakes, the Lazy Cowgirls, Thrones, and The Gourds are featured. The collection also contains posters for The Creepout! event.
