Scope and Contents
The collection contains approximately thirty music posters advertising shows at Austin venues such as Room 710, Emo’s, Stubb’s BBQ, Red Eye Fly, La Zona Rosa, Beerland, the Parish, and the Mercury.
Band and musicians such as Hank III, Buzzcocks, Phaser, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Supersuckers, Scott H. Biram, Merle Haggard, Wire, Weary Boys, They Might Be Giants, Blind Boys of Alabama, Bettie Servert, Polyphinic Spree, The Breeders, The Mavericks, Of Montreal, Interpol, Stereolab, Loretta Lynn, The Beta Band, Speadeater Dixie Witch, Knife in the Water, Clinic, Ignorance Park, The Spiders, Johnny Cash, Los Lobos, and Rhett Miller are represented.
