An Inventory to the Collection
Boy Scout Troop 8787 is based out of Austin, Texas. The chartering organization is the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post 8787 and they are in the Blackland Prairie District of the Capitol Area Council. The troop began in the summer of 1996.

In addition to the photographs there are a limited amount of textual materials. Included are Court of Honor programs dated from 1996 through 2007, two Certificates of Appreciation and two issues of the VFW Post 8787 newsletter that include the "Scout Scoop."
