Biographical note

Frank Hall Wright (1860-1922) was an evangelist in the western United States. Wright was born January 1, 1860 in Oklahoma (then considered Indian Territory) to a father who was a chief of the Choctaw Nation and a mother who was a Presbyterian missionary. He graduated from Union College in 1882 and then from Union Theological Seminary in 1885. After his ordination, he traveled the United States preaching as an evangelist and missionary to Native Americans. He received a doctorate of divinity from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri in 1917. He died in Canada on July 16, 1922.
