Biographical note

Dr. Berta Murray (1897-1999) was the President of the Presbyterian School for Mexican Girls in Taft, Texas (a predecessor school to Presbyterian Pan American School in Kingsville, Texas). Ms. Rodriguez of San Antonio was one of Dr. Murray’s students.
