• Files you need:
  • XMetal Users:
    • ead.dtd (ALL repositories, place in rules folder; do a right click and save target )
    • ead.mcr (new TARO 2 repositories, place in macros folder )
    • ead.ctm (new TARO 2 repositories, place in rules folder )
    • ead.css ( new TARO 2 repositories, place in display folder )
    • charentmap.xml ( ALL repositories, place in main XMetal 3 folder )
  • All Repositories:
    • eadcbs2.xsl
      • XMetal users - right click and save to the display folder in XMetal for use as a preview stylesheet
      • Others - place with xml files for easy use or if your software has a specific directory for stylesheets
    • taro-aid.css (right click and save, to use with html files created by transformation using eadcbs2.xsl, for printing of finding aids locally)

2. Reviewing your XML finding aids

• 500K XML file size limit and splitting files: NEW
• Special characters, Unicode and XML
• XMetal 3 and special characters
• <controlaccess> and DC metadata

3. Moving Files Into Production

• File naming and identification
• Submit files within two weeks of completing them: NEW
• Transferring finished XML files to the TARO production server using SSH
