Minnie Ratcliff was an active member in the Fifth Ward community of Houston, Texas for more than 35 years. She was a mother of four daughters and was within the first graduating class of Phillis Wheatley High School in 1929. Ratcliff also attended Old Chew School and the Gregory School. Minnie Ratcliff supported her community, her church, and Wheatley High School throughout her life.
