A complementary tool that does "deep indexing" of books that may in some cases only include one or two instruments, entitled the "SDSU Test Finder" was recently developed by Mark Stover, Head of Reference Services at San Diego State University Library. This tool can be found at http://www-rohan.sdsu.edu/~mstover/tests/. The author notes that "...approximately 25% of the material in the SDSU Test Finder was adapted from Helen's work and used by permission.
Stover has also developed a related tool which indexes complete tests and instruments found in the journal literature. It's located at http://www-rohan.sdsu.edu/~mstover/tests2/. It indexes articles from the psychology journal literature, journal articles from nursing, social work, sociology, education, communication, and management. Stover notes that this tool is still in development.
